Criminal Judical Center Munich
Excerpt from the jury’s verdict: The concise and functional building integrates itself sensibly to the different sides of the property: in the north, there is a high elevation at the Dachauer street combined with a more prominent elevation to seven storeys for the main building. Furthermore, the entrance at Leonrodplatz is a perfectly adequate representation for the criminal justice system as it has a good usage of space. The limitation of the design to just one main building that covers ⅔ of the available area is functional, dense and economical. Inside the building, the offices and their functions are clearly arranged and designed with short distances between them, making them directly and easily accessible.
