Administrative Centre Burgdorf near Bern CH

The new administration centre of the canton was planned and build following the swiss standard for sustainability and energy efficiency called „Minergie“. In this connection the best standard „Minergie-P“ and„Minergie-Eco“ was achieved and certified.
The constructive implications out of this were consistantly followed and carried through in the constructive phase and detailed planning. Next to a very effective prime energy procurement through a wood chip plant, technical and constructive solutions were found almost everywhere which virtually made a passive house out of the administration building.
