Hospital Leipzig Prison

PLAN2 was commissioned to build the penal hospital for the Leipzig prison by the SIB in 2009. Due to financial straits and budget problems in Saxony, planning was halted in 2010.
Construction within the Leipzig prison is taking place in the northeastern part of the site. The new building will be a counterpart to the already existing Hospital 1. The building lines of the latter will be incorporated into the former.
